Roundtable Notes

Congratulations To:

  • John Haswell, Rich Neiberger and Jeff Opalko for receiving the Silver Fox award at the Council Adult Recognition Banquet. This award is for superior sustained service to the BSA

  • Troop 125, Rick Yost Scoutmaster, for winning the best overall award at the District Camporee.

Much Thanks to:

·         Chairman Mike Grantham, key staff Kim Chamberlain, Delisa and Joe Chubb, Amy Keller, Dino Muggeo, Mike Rhodes, Bob Ross, Stan and Tyler Vickery, Rich Watkins, Pat Whitmer, Taylor Wright and about 30 other event staff, for an incredible Camporee. The theme was Spartan, but the enthusiasm was not! There was an even bigger increase in the number of Scouts and Troops (16 total) than there was last year.

·        Denise Copeland and Jan MacKenzie for co-ordinating Scouting for Food. This year’s total collected was again over 10,000 pounds! Unit totals are on the District website. Congratulations to Pack 454 for being the only member of the ONE TON Club.

·        Chairman Michael Wohl, Wayne McCormack, Chris Vought, Todd and Joyce Yurchisin and for a super District Pinewood Derby.
