·         Susan Opalko for her contributions to an outstanding resident camp at Shands.

·         All the Scoutmasters and leaders that took their Scouts to resident Summer Camp.

·         Inga Glaspey, Ron White and all the staff of the Cub Day Camp at T.B. McPherson Park. The number of Cubs increased again from the last two years and they had a blast!

·         Gary Keeler, Nikki Butler and the staff of the Cub Day Camp in Chiefland. The first one out there in about five years and had 25 Cubs in attendance. A small start to establishing a large tradition!intz and all the staff and counselorrs anning Confernce with a feast!

For Committee Members:

·         Is your popcorn commitment in? Do you know what your unit goal is? Do you have a plan for achieving it? Contact Anne Banks (h) 332-4110, azbanks@cox.net or Kelly Petruy (h) 333-7660 kpetruy@cox.net for further assistance.

·         Please use the online advancement program to do a unit audit and make sure all your active Scouts are registered.

For Scoutmasters:

·         Please give the number of Scouts that went to Resident Camp to District Camping Chair, Milledge Murphey (h) 373-9234, mmurphey@hhp.ufl.edu or to Gary. September September 1 – Octobex. It also says flyer attached. Can we have our flyers posted on the web?

·         Would you like to help out at Buc Tuocs @ Camp Shands Feb 6-8, 2009? Please contact Maria Eunice at (w) 955-7537.

For Cub Leaders:

·         School Night Training normally would have been held by now. The recruiting effort will be different this year. Most Cub Leaders have received information on the program. Please contact Gary for additional information.

·         Possum Creek Cub Campout is Oct 3-4.  Flyers will be available soon to be downloaded from the web site. Contact Tammy Clark at bsamom@bellsouth.net for more information.
