What:  Youth Protection & New Leader Essentials are required initial training for all new Scout leaders.  This week-long event will offer evening sessions for all basic and leader-specific training for Cub Scout, Venture, and Boy Scout leaders.  Youth Protection and Fast Start training are also available on-line at http://olc.scouting.org/.

 

Who Should Attend:  All Cub Scout, Venturing, & Boy Scout Leaders and Committee Members who are new to Scouting or have not yet received formal training for their leadership roles.

 

Where: Trinity United Methodist Church, 4000 N.W. 53rd Avenue, Gainesville. 

 

When:  Monday-Friday, September 10-14th, 2007   6:00 - 9:00 pm

*Please arrive 15 minutes before your first session to register.  Sessions will begin on time.

There is no cost for these training events.  Pre-registration is not required, except for Youth Protection Facilitators:  *we must have at least 3 participants to offer the session - please contact Wayne to pre-register.
