What: Youth Protection & New Leader Essentials are required initial
training for all new Scout leaders. Youth Protection and Fast Start
training are available on-line at http://olc.scouting.org/. This 1-day
event will offer Youth Protection & New Leader Essentials to ALL new Scout
leaders, and leader-specific training for Cub Scout leaders.

Who Should
Attend: All new Cub Scout, Boy Scout and Venturing Leaders are
invited for Youth Protection and New Leader Essentials. All Cub
Scout Leaders and Pack Committee Members who have not yet received
formal training for their pack or den leadership roles as Tiger
Leaders, Cub Scout Den Leaders, Webelos Den Leaders, Cubmasters,
Pack Committee Members (including Assistant Leaders). |

9:00-10:30 Youth Protection
10:30-12:00 New Leader Essentials
1:00-4:00 Tiger Leader, Den Leader, Webelos Leader,
Cubmaster, Pack Committee
Where:
Trinity United Methodist Church, 4000 N.W. 53rd Ave.,
Gainesville. Education Building, second floor (follow signs for Scout
Leader Training).
There
is no cost for this training event, and pre-registration is not required.
