How Do I Become “Fully Trained”? Earn the BSA “trained” patch by completing 3-5 courses (depends on your position). Link to diagram that illustrates the adult leader training sequences

  • “This is Scouting” is a new online course that has replaced “New Leader Essentials”. It is required for leaders in all programs.
  • If you received BSA training OUTSIDE OF NORTH FLORIDA COUNCIL (e.g., at summer camp), give Todd or Libby a photocopy of your training certificate so we can update your council record.
